Zappa Plays Zappa (http://www.zappaplayszappa.com), the concert experience that brings the music of the late Frank Zappa to the stage under the direction of Dweezil Zappa, will embark on its sophomore tour this summer. A 3 hr. Zappa Plays Zappa DVD will be released this fall in high definition and will include songs such as: Andy, Florentine, Pogen, Peaches En Regalia, Black Napkins, Inca Roads and Montana.

I agree. I just picked it up,and was very very pleased. The musicianship is off the charts,and respect Dweezil shows for his dad is touching. He manages to actually channel some of his playing style,too,which is cool. Great,great DVD. So many awesome moments throughout.

they take all of …
they take all of the improvisation out of the spoken word, which really makes me angry. theyre just replicating just another band from l.a. its a shame that dweezil didn’t inherit frank’s oddisms, and wisdom, because htat’s really what made the music what it was/is.
